Bellezza Espresso –
Quality and Beauty combined.
A hybrid brewing unit consisting of the well-known Faema E61 and a matching boiler. Bellezza engineers benefitted from 40 years’ experience in the development of espresso machines, such as Brasilia, Elektra, Wega, or Rancilio. Consequently, they were able to break new ground with the Evolution Line in 2021 while still following known paths with the Tradition Line. The Athena and Vittoria are reflected in the Evolution, while the Inizio, Valentina, Chiara, Bellona, and Francesca are reflected in the Tradition Line. All machines are available with matching espresso machine accessories. Bellezza Burr Coffee Grinders are also part of the selection to guarantee that every bean yields an exceptional espresso experience.
Most espresso machine manufacturers source their parts from the same suppliers. But their quality did not meet our standards. We wanted things to be a little more perfect than perfect and maintain control over our components. Therefore, we started our own production.
Every part must be produced according to German Quality Standards which is achieved through strict quality control of all our components. We don’t see espresso machines as temporary partners, but rather as lifetime companions.
Our Bellezza selection from the espresso machines through coffee grinders and frothing pitchers to tamping stations are not only characterized by our top-notch design and high quality standards: Innovation and inventiveness play an at least equally important role in our house and have been lived with every brewing cycle since our founding.
This is continuously proven by our manufacturers.
Espresso means emotions! And to ensure that you can enjoy your espresso with a clear conscience, we strive for innovations in the field of sustainability. Because everyone must contribute, and development and production are only one piece of the puzzle.
Another key piece is the transport of our machines. This happens in a CO2-neutral manner by train, and our partner Kühne & Nagel supports us with great solutions in this respect.
We also believe that packaging has a major impact. It is therefore our goal to replace all plastic packaging with an eco-friendly jute option.
If you have any additional ideas that could help us reduce our carbon footprint, please contact us.
We are a small family business that aims to convey traditional family values: mutual respect and love. A tight knit community. Fans of each other. Rooting for one another, dealing with defeats, and celebrating wins.
We apply these principles to each step in our production, how we treat each other as well as to all our partners and client relationships. Become part of the Bellezza family and see for yourself.
The story of the Bellezza Espressomaschinen GmbH began in 1975, when Heinz Berberich founded Berberich Kaffeemaschinen in Ketsch, Germany. He laid the foundation for our family tradition: premium espresso and all things surrounding the brown bean. This was 45 years ago, and a lot has happened since.
At the beginning, Brasilia, Electra, Wega, Rancilio, and many other manufacturers were close partners and some even close friends of Berberich Kaffeemaschinen. Among others, Heinz Berberich co-developed the well-known Bremer Viva and improved classic espresso machine models as partner of big industry players.
This long-term experience from the development of high-end espresso machines was included in the first Bellezza espresso machines in partnership with the Bellezza team. This machine should later become his legacy: The Inizio.
Since 2017, the founders have been continuing the tradition of Berberich Kaffeemaschinen under the label Bellezza and have been leading the company into the future. Always driven by German know-how and innovative power for espresso machines.
Since 2022, the company has belonged to VEA Ventures and is the flagship of the group.
Evolution instead of standstill. As Heinz Berberich used to say:
Exclusive espresso machines for roasters, baristas, & baristas at home.
